Job summary

Barry Callebaut seeks a Senior Customer R&D Project Manager to translate customer needs into new products and projects, driving growth in volumes and margins. You will serve as the primary technical contact for customers and coordinate cross-functional teams across Sales, Operations, Quality and Sourcing.

The role requires a Master’s in Food Technology/Engineering/Science, 10+ years in the food industry, and willingness to travel up to 30%.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Food Technology, Engineering, or Science, or equivalent experience.
• Fluent in local language and proficient in English.
• 10+ years in the food industry with NPD experience.
• Proven leadership of cross-functional teams; strong influence.
• Willing to travel up to 30% and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex NPD projects from concept to commercialization.
• Guide R&D product experts and technologists; translate learnings to opportunities.
• Provide technical support to vendors, customers, ops and QA.
• Engage with customers during visits and plant trials.
• Collaborate across Sales, Operations, Quality, Sourcing and cocoa R&D.
