Job summary

Public Service Electric & Gas Co. (PSEG) seeks a Sr. Customer Operations Supervisor to lead union-represented associates in a fast-paced utility service center, focusing on safety, performance, and customer satisfaction.

You will oversee daily activities, monitor metrics, manage staffing priorities, and ensure policy compliance while coaching staff for continuous improvement. You’ll drive teamwork across internal and external partners, organize workloads, set priorities, and develop personnel to

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree preferred in Business; 5+ years of supervisory experience in a union environment
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to supervise bargaining unit employees
• Ability to lead, develop and motivate high performing teams while fostering an inclusive work environment
• Experience managing multiple priorities in a dynamic cross-functional environment with strict deadlines
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word; knowledge of SAP, CCS and UWUA Bargaining Agreement
• Must possess and maintain a valid US driver’s license and a safe driving history

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of union-represented associates and development of performance
• Monitor and analyze individual performance to achieve scorecard targets
• Set team priorities to ensure effective workload management
• Motivate, coach and develop personnel for high performance and quality
• Resolve employee relations matters in alignment with policies and labor agreements
• Plan and coordinate a diverse workforce to ensure safe, efficient work and target achievement
• Organize team meetings and lead projects
• Analyze data to assess business performance and adjust procedures as needed
