We are partnering with a leading global data center developer and owner-operator to identify a Senior Customer Delivery Manager to join their growing team.
This is a high-impact opportunity to play a key role in delivering complex customer deployments across large-scale data center and AI/HPC infrastructure. You will sit at the intersection of customer delivery, technical project management, engineering, construction, commissioning, and operations, acting as a senior point of contact throughout the customer lifecycle.
The organization is experiencing significant growth and is investing heavily in its customer delivery capabilities. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with major customers and internal technical teams while helping shape the processes and standards used to deliver next-generation data center capacity.
The Role
As Senior Customer Delivery Manager, you will own the delivery of customer deployments from initial onboarding and technical requirements through design, construction, commissioning, handover, and ongoing lifecycle support.
You will work closely with customers, engineering teams, EPC partners, contractors, vendors, OEMs, commissioning agents, and operations teams to ensure customer requirements are understood, coordinated, and delivered.
This is not a traditional account management or customer success position. It is a technical customer delivery role focused on execution, infrastructure, project delivery, and ensuring customers are successfully deployed and operational.
What You'll Do
- Own the end-to-end delivery of customer deployments from onboarding through commissioning, handover, and operational readiness.
- Serve as the senior delivery point of contact for customers, building trusted relationships with technical, engineering, and operational stakeholders.
- Translate customer requirements into clear delivery plans, milestones, responsibilities, dependencies, and execution workstreams.
- Coordinate across engineering, construction, commissioning, operations, network, facilities, security, logistics, and commercial teams.
- Lead customer-facing technical and delivery meetings, providing clear visibility into progress, risks, decisions, blockers, and next steps.
- Manage integrated delivery trackers covering requirements, design decisions, RFIs, changes, equipment, milestones, risks, issues, and action items.
- Identify and proactively manage technical, commercial, schedule, and operational risks that could impact customer deployment.
- Lead customer-driven changes and assess their impact on scope, cost, schedule, infrastructure, and operational requirements.
- Coordinate design reviews and ensure customer requirements are reflected in drawings, specifications, submittals, equipment schedules, and commissioning plans.
- Drive deployment readiness across power, cooling, network, controls, access, logistics, security, and other site requirements.
- Coordinate with EPC partners, contractors, OEMs, integrators, commissioning agents, and customer engineering teams to resolve delivery issues.
- Support site walks, construction readiness reviews, commissioning activities, punch-list management, and closeout.
- Ensure a smooth transition from project delivery into operations, including documentation, commissioning records, turnover packages, support processes, and escalation paths.
- Support customer expansions, redeployments, upgrades, and other lifecycle requirements following initial deployment.
- Help develop and improve customer delivery processes, governance, reporting, and best practices as the organization scales.
What We're Looking For
- 7–12+ years of experience in customer delivery, technical program management, project management, construction management, data center delivery, or a related field.
- Experience delivering complex infrastructure projects, preferably within data centers, colocation, hyperscale, AI/HPC, mission-critical, or other critical infrastructure environments.
- Strong understanding of data center infrastructure and MEP systems, including electrical distribution, medium/low voltage, mechanical cooling, HVAC, controls, fire protection, telecommunications, and network infrastructure.
- Experience working directly with customers, tenants, owners, engineering consultants, EPC firms, contractors, vendors, OEMs, and commissioning teams.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects involving multiple stakeholders, competing priorities, dependencies, and changing requirements.
- Strong understanding of project delivery fundamentals including scope, schedule, cost, risk, change management, procurement, commissioning, and operational handover.
- Ability to translate complex technical issues into clear business impacts, decisions, actions, and customer communications.
- Strong executive presence and the ability to confidently lead customer-facing meetings and difficult delivery conversations.
- Experience with tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, AutoCAD/Revit, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar project management platforms.
- Working knowledge of applicable NEC, NFPA, IBC, OSHA, ASHRAE, and data center standards and practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline preferred.
- Willingness to travel periodically for customer meetings, site walks, commissioning, and key deployment milestones.
Why This Opportunity?
You'll be joining a leading data center developer and owner-operator at a time of significant expansion, working on critical infrastructure projects supporting some of the world's largest technology and AI companies.
