Samaritan's Purse is seeking a Senior Custom Systems Analyst to join the Information Technology team in Boone, NC. This on-site role focuses on translating business needs into technical requirements, leading workshops, and ensuring successful delivery of custom applications across ministries.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in business systems analysis, strong SDLC and Agile experience, and the ability to mentor others while collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field with 10+ years in business systems analysis.
• Experience with SDLC, Agile/Scrum, and system integrations.
• Ability to translate business needs into user stories and requirements.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and mentoring.
• Experience using AI tools to improve analysis and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements-gathering activities, workshops, and define system needs and priorities.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts, solution architects, and developers to design solutions.
• Facilitate communication across the development lifecycle, including approvals.
• Validate developed systems against requirements and provide training.
• Perform ongoing business-process improvements and ensure alignment with ministry objectives.
