Job summary

Samaritan's Purse is seeking a PeopleSoft HCM Business Systems Analyst IV to join the Information Technology team in Boone, NC (or other approved onsite locations). This senior role will analyze business processes, manage system enhancements, coordinate upgrades, and develop reports to support informed decision-making.

You will lead requirements gathering, validate solutions with stakeholders, and mentor junior analysts while ensuring data integrity and system performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems or related field, and at least seven (7) years of experience supporting related business systems.
• Strong knowledge of core business systems and related business processes including HR, Finance, Logistics, Procurement, Asset Management, and Inventory.
• Experience with SDLC, testing, configuration and deployment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business processes and recommend system, process, and customer service improvements; manage projects using data and established project plans.
• Provide production support and system maintenance; coordinate upgrades and patches with functional and technical teams.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for system enhancements; develop test plans and coordinate user acceptance.
• Develop, maintain, and support reports and queries using appropriate reporting tools; analyze data to meet customer needs.
• Train and guide system users; mentor and develop Analysts; stay current on industry trends.

We are seeking a PeopleSoft HCM Business Systems Analyst IV to join our Information Technology team in Boone or North Wilkesboro, NC (or another approved on-site location). In the role of PeopleSoft HCM Business Systems Analyst IV, you will have the opportunity to:

Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and be a consistent witness for Jesus Christ.

Analyze business processes and recommend system, process, and customer service improvements, innovative solutions, and policy changes; manage projects and process improvements using data, change management practices, and established project plans to achieve organizational goals.

Provide production support and system maintenance by researching and resolving business systems issues, coordinating upgrades and patches with functional and technical teams, maintaining system tables and data integrity, and documenting processes and results.

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for system enhancements; develop and execute test plans, coordinate user acceptance, and work with business owners and subject matter experts to validate and implement solutions.

Develop, maintain, and support reports and queries using appropriate reporting tools, analyzing data to meet customer needs, support decision-making, and maintain system data integrity.

Train and guide system users by developing procedures, guidelines, and documentation; mentor and develop Business Systems Analysts while maintaining current knowledge of business systems, technologies, industry trends, and professional practices.

What are the qualifications?

As a qualified candidate, you will have the following skills and experience:

Bachelor's degree with a major in Information Technology, Information Systems or related field, and at least seven (7) or more years of experience supporting related business systems; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Strong knowledge of core business systems and related business processes, including Human Resources, Finance, Logistics, Procurement, Asset Management, and Inventory.

Comprehensive knowledge of business systems analysis processes and the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), with strong experience in application testing, configuration, and deployment.

Ability to analyze solutions and process flows from a broad, organizational perspective, identifying opportunities to streamline operations and improve system efficiency and effectiveness.

Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, contribute and exchange ideas, take direction, and communicate effectively with stakeholders throughout the organization.

Ability to lead, guide, and mentor members of a high-functioning team while prioritizing competing needs and supporting evolving service requirements.
