Job summary

The Keystone Distinction Group, a respected designer and manufacturer of fully customized automated assembly equipment, seeks a Sr. Project Engineer to lead projects from concept to completion in Milwaukee, WI.

You will own the overall design, guide a team of engineers, and ensure budgets and timelines are met. Requirements include a BS ME (or equivalent) and 5+ years of experience with customized automated production equipment; SolidWorks is required, with welding/fixture design and GD&T

Qualifications

• BSME or similar degree with strong mechanical design skills.
• 5+ years of project design experience for fully customized automated production equipment.
• SolidWorks proficiency.
• Experience with welding and fixture design; GD&T knowledge.
• Desirable: robotics, vision systems, data acquisition; customer/supplier interaction.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall design of a custom automated machine contracted for by a client.
• Lead a team of Design Engineers and outside contractors on larger projects.
• Manage resources and breakdown design tasks, timelines, and milestones.
• Communicate status of projects with customers and management.
