Job summary

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of custodial cleaning methods and materials.
• Basic knowledge of building maintenance trades (carpentry, electrical, plumbing).
• Two years in a Custodian II position or equivalent with leadership capability.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, dusts, disinfects offices, classrooms, restrooms and fixtures to standards.
• Cleans public areas, drains, windows, floors and surfaces regularly.
• Maintains safe, clean walkways and surrounding grounds including debris removal.
• Cleans desks, tables, counters, and furnishings, inside/outside windows and light fixtures.
• Strips, seals, and refinishes hard floors; shampoos carpets and upholstery as needed.
• Performs minor plumbing adjustments and maintains fixtures.
