Job summary

Qualifications

• Custodian certification must be obtained within one year of appointment.
• IPCS screening completed for new hires per district policy.

Responsibilities

• Open and secure assigned school facilities daily and inspect for hazards.
• Operate and maintain custodial equipment safely and efficiently.
• Clean restrooms, classrooms and common areas; respond to spills and emergencies.
• Lead custodial tasks when directed and assist in training staff.
• Report maintenances and equipment issues to supervisor promptly.
