Job summary

Rowan-Salisbury Schools Granite Quarry Elementary School in Granite Quarry, NC is seeking a Head Custodian in the Maintenance Department. The role reports to the Custodial Supervisor and Warehouse Supervisor and involves cleaning, receiving/shipping, and custodial orders management across sites.

Starting immediately, this full-time position offers 12 months of employment with a hourly wage range of $16.30 to $20.25.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency is required.
• Must hold valid NC Driver’s License.
• Custodial and warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and sanitizing of building daily and as needed.
• Cleaning and sanitizing at other RSS sites as needed.
• Prioritize and complete daily work tickets.
• Ensure grounds are cleared of debris on a daily basis.
• Check all fire extinguishers and exit and emergency lights for safety inspections.
• Maintain custodial equipment and inventory.
