Job summary

Rowan-Salisbury Schools in Salisbury, NC is seeking a Head Custodian in the Maintenance Department to perform cleaning, sanitizing and upkeep across building facilities, including the Technology Department. Starting immediately, you will manage shipments, pull custodial orders, operate equipment, and support new staff training while ensuring compliance with RSS cleaning standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• Must hold valid NC Driver’s License.
• Custodial and warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and sanitizing building daily and as needed.
• Prioritize and complete daily work tickets.
• Maintain custodial equipment and inventory.
• Log daily shipment receipts and records.
• Assist with trainings for new custodial staff.
