Job summary

The Department of Emergency and Military Affairs seeks an Environmental Resource Manager to lead cultural resource programs across Arizona National Guard lands. You will oversee surveys, documentation, and compliance under NHPA and NEPA, collaborating with SCRM and EMO staff to protect historic properties.

Responsibilities include managing field operations, coordinating with tribal entities, and preparing technical reports.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cultural resource conservation and management.
• Experience applying federal, state, and local preservation laws and NHPA/NEPA.
• Ability to manage surveys, data collection, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct surveys and archival research for historic properties.
• Oversee program performance and field operations across ARNG facilities.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and prepare required compliance documents.
• Utilize GIS to update historic property data and inventories.
• Prepare reports, SOPs, and presentations for senior leadership.
