Job summary

Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska is hiring a Senior CT Technologist for a 1.0 FTE night shift. The role leads CT technical activities, optimizes protocols to minimize dose (ALARA), and may float to cover staffing needs across departments.

Qualifications include ARRT CT certification, graduation from an approved radiologic technology program, BLS, and 2 years CT experience; preferred 5 years and 1 year leadership.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Certified as a CT Technologist.
• Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography, or
• Upon hire: National Computed Tomology Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board
• Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 2 years of Post CT Certification Experience

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs and coordinates all technical activities in the CT Department.
• Develops and implements CT protocols to ensure ALARA and highest image quality.
• Float position to cover staffing needs in other departments.
