Job description

We're hiring for a Full-Time Senior CT Technologist position at Providence Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska!

Shift & Compensation

Shifts available: 1.0 FTE, Night Shift, 40 hours per week.

$10,000 Hiring Bonus for eligible external hires meets required qualifications and conditions for payment.

Relocation Assistance available for eligible hires meets required qualifications and conditions for payment.

Pay Range: $49.65 - $77.08.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Required Qualifications

• Under the supervision of the CT Supervisor, Medical Director and Radiology Management Team, the Senior CT Technologist plans, directs and coordinates all technical activities performed in the CT Department.
• Responsibility for development and implementation of CT protocols to assure lowest possible dose (ALARA), consistent installation of protocols across all equipment to ensure the highest level of image quality.
• CT protocols are developed with the Medical Director for the division and are reviewed by a physicist to assure that radiation doses do not exceed those recommended by the American College of Radiology (ACR).
• This is also a float position where the Senior CT Technologist will work with leadership to help cover potential staffing needs in other departments.
• Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Certified as a CT Technologist.
• Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography, or National Computed Tomography Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board.
• Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5 years of experience as a CT Technologist.
• 1 year of leadership experience.
