Job Summary

We're hiring a full‑time Senior CT Technologist at Providence Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska. This position is 1.0 FTE, Night shift, 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the CT Supervisor, Medical Director and Radiology Management Team, the Senior CT Technologist plans, directs and coordinates all technical activities performed in the CT Department. Responsibilities include development and implementation of CT protocols to assure lowest possible dose (ALARA), consistent installation of protocols across all equipment to ensure the highest level of image quality. CT protocols are developed with the Medical Director for the division and are reviewed by a physicist to assure radiation doses do not exceed those recommended by the American College of Radiology (ACR). This is also a float position where the Senior CT Technologist will work with leadership to help cover potential staffing needs in other departments.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology
• Certified as a CT Technologist
• National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography or National Computed Tomography Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (upon hire)
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association (within 30 days of hire)
• 2 years of post-CT certification experience

Preferred Qualifications

• 5 years of experience as a CT Technologist
• 1 year of leadership experience

Salary and Compensation

Pay range: $47.39 - $73.56 per hour. Base pay range; additional compensation may be available for shift differences, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
