Job summary

The Senior CT Radiology Technologist at 61st Street Service Corporation leads CT teams, mentors staff, and ensures quality imaging across sites. You will perform CT studies, review orders with radiologists, and support patient care and QA.

Requirements: 5+ years CT experience, NYS license and ARRT/CT, current BLS, strong communication and leadership. Flexible schedule including weekends; sign-on bonus up to $10K.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' relevant CT experience including wide range of CT studies.
• NYS License and ARRT/CT certification.
• Current BLS certification.
• Demonstrated leadership in a team environment and problem-solving skills.
• Participation in continuous improvement or quality initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with patients, visitors, vendors, and staff.
• Perform CT studies and radiological procedures; review requests with radiologists.
• Position patient and select imaging options for quality results.
• Monitor patient status and coordinate with care providers as needed.
• Judge image quality and ensure readiness for interpretation.
• Operate and maintain CT equipment; perform QA and inspections; maintain logs.
• Assist onboarding and training of new technologists; mentor peers.
• Support coverage planning and safety debriefs; contribute to quality improvement.
• Contribute to safety culture via safety huddles and transparency in events.
• Other duties as assigned.
