Qualifications

• Employee must meet the requirements outlined in the CSPT Clinical Ladder Policy.
• must have certification- Certified Sterile Processing Technician or Certified Endoscopy Technician
• minimum of 12 months experience as a SPT I or who has been engaged in the active certified sterile processing technician role for at least 24 months in an acute care facility with an active sterile processing department prior to being employed at THS

Responsibilities

• The CSPT II is a certified sterile processing technician who has a minimum of 12 months experience as a CSPT I or who has been engaged in the active certified sterile processing technician role for at least 24 months in an acute care facility with an active sterile processing department prior to being employed at THS.
• The CSPT II will act as a resource for other employees.
