Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health seeks a CSPD Technician II for Sterile Processing. Qualifications

• Certification required (CRCST or CSPDT) via HSPA or CBSPD.
• CIS issued by HSPA preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of related experience required.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminates surgical instruments according to manufacturer’s instructions and supervisor guidance.
• Inspects instruments to ensure cleanliness, function, and accounting.
• Assembles instrument trays and uses count sheets for accuracy.
• Interfaces with department tracking system for processing functions.
• Packages or containers instruments per guidelines and standards.
• Loads and wraps sterilized items, ensuring integrity of包装.
• Performs daily sterilizer tests and monitors cycles.
