Job summary

Acuity International seeks an experienced EHS leader to oversee the Environmental, Health, and Safety program for secure facility operations in the United States. You will drive injury prevention, regulatory compliance, and a proactive safety culture across one or more sites.

The role requires a CSP or progress toward certification, a strong background in OSHA/NFPA/EPA standards, and the ability to obtain required clearances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety, engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of EHS experience; detention/corrections or heavy industrial preferred.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) required or obtained within 12 months.
• U.S. citizen or permanent resident; able to obtain necessary clearances.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and training.
• Administer hazard communication, chemical labeling, and safety data sheets.
• Lead incident investigations and corrective actions to closure.
• Coordinate industrial hygiene, PPE programs, and safety audits.
