Job summary

Linesight in Raleigh, NC seeks a Senior Estimator (CSA) to lead the development of the total project estimate, coordinate the estimate plan with the project team, and advance the Basis of Estimate and risk analysis. You will maintain current local rates and advise on contingencies, while building strong relationships with clients and the internal team.

• 10+ years of estimating experience in a construction environment.
• Experience with estimating systems such as Sage Timberline, InEight or CostX.
• Degree or comparable experience in a construction-related discipline.
• Chartered or on path to accreditation (RICS, CEP or CPE) is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.

• Prepare the total Project Basis of Estimate and the Estimate Risk Analysis, making cost contingency recommendations to the project team.

The Opportunity

• Develop the estimate plan and coordinate estimate development with the project team
• Lead the development of the total project estimate
• Prepare the total Project Basis of Estimate and the Estimate Risk Analysis, making cost contingency recommendations to the project team
• Analyze and make recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization, project objectives and guidelines
• Maintain a library of current local rates for use in all estimates

Requirements

• Have grown your experience as an Estimator over 10 years with increasing levels of scope and responsibility in a construction environment
• Have demonstrated experience using estimating systems such as Sage Timberline, InEight, or CostX
• Have a degree or comparable experience in a construction related discipline
• Are RICS, CEP or CPE chartered or are on the path to complete it. We can help!

• Are detail orientated and quality focused

The salary range for this role is between $109,000 and $140,000 but actual salary is dependent on skill set, education and experience
