Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation seeks an experienced hands-on enterprise architect and principal software engineer to lead cryptographic and platform-security initiatives. You will design reference architectures, write production-grade code, and prototype patterns that drive division-wide security strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Deep knowledge of multiple programming languages, software architecture, and design principles.
• Deep understanding of software development lifecycle, testing, deployment, and security practices.

Responsibilities

• Architects and builds end-to-end software and platform solutions for cryptographic and security initiatives.
• Owns enterprise-architecture vision and translates goals into concrete plans, validating them by coding and prototyping.
• Designs and integrates cryptographic and secrets-management capabilities into production systems.
• Establishes secure-by-design standards, guardrails, and governance patterns and demonstrates them in delivered work.
• Leads large, complex initiatives with autonomy, balancing innovation with risk.
