Job summary

XM is seeking a QA engineer to join cross-functional, agile tech teams ensuring quality across development. You will test front-end, back-end, and E2E flows, validate crypto trading workflows, and contribute to test strategy and documentation. Strong English skills and methodical approach are essential.

The role involves staying updated on testing trends, working with DB and API testing, and supporting high-throughput trading systems with rigorous validation.

Qualifications

• BSc/MSc in Computer science required.
• 3+ years of experience in manual testing of software products.
• 1+ year of QA experience in crypto, blockchain, Web3, DeFi, or digital asset platforms.
• Practical experience validating blockchain-related workflows such as wallets, transactions, asset transfers, or network interactions.
• Experience testing trading, exchange, fintech, or payment platforms with complex transactional flows.
• Practical experience in GUI and API testing is a must.
• Knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
• Strong knowledge and experience in software testing concepts and methodologies.
• Strong interpersonal and organisational skills, English proficiency.

• Ensure that software meets functional and non-functional requirements.
• Stay up to date on the latest testing trends and technologies related to DB and API.
• Report testing status to project teams and Head of the QA department.

• Manage in-house testing documentation, write and continuously review test strategy.
• Validate crypto trading flows including order placement, execution, and settlement.
• Participate in testing high-availability and high-throughput systems handling real-time trading data.
