Bitwise Asset Management, Inc. is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Corporate Finance team in San Francisco. You will oversee day-to-day accounting functions, including month-end close, and act as a primary contact for inquiries from employees, vendors, and third parties.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of accounting experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with NetSuite and Ramp. You will contribute to growth initiatives and support audits and tax-related activities

Formación

• 5+ years of Accounting / Finance experience supporting month- and quarter-end close activities, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Excellent communication skills and timely responsiveness.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Eagerness to learn and take ownership of assigned tasks.
• Familiarity with accounting software or willingness to learn (e.g., NetSuite, Ramp).
• Basic Excel or spreadsheet skills.

Responsabilidades

• Support the month-end and quarter-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Work on monthly journal entries for fair market value of Digital Assets and Fund Investments for month-close.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure accurate accruals, month-end close activities, and financial reporting related schedules.
• Manage bank reconciliations and other balance sheet account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies, if any.
• Support audits (external and internal), including preparation of schedules and responding to auditor requests.
• Liaise with tax consultants for periodic federal, state tax and VAT payments.
• Support preparation of monthly recharges and invoicing to subsidiaries.
• Support special projects and evolving business needs as requested (e.g., general ledger schedules).
• Provide support during financial audits, including audit schedules and timely responses to queries.
• Work closely with global accounting teams for accounting or related tasks.
