Job summary

Bitwise is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Corporate Finance team in a pivotal role for daily operations, month-end close, and partner inquiries. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Accounting, you will oversee journal entries, reconciliations, and close activities, while supporting system integrations and growth initiatives from an accounting perspective.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in accounting/finance, strong communication, and experience with NetSuite and Ramp.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
5+ years of accounting/finance experience
Excellent communication skills and timely responsiveness
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Familiarity with accounting software (NetSuite, Ramp) or willingness to learn
Basic Excel or spreadsheet skills

Responsibilities

Support the month-end and quarter-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
Prepare monthly journal entries for fair value of Digital Assets and Fund Investments
Collaborate to ensure accurate accruals and financial reporting schedules
Manage bank reconciliations and balance sheet account reconciliations
Support audits and respond to auditor requests
Coordinate with tax consultants for federal/state tax and VAT payments
Assist with monthly recharges and invoicing to subsidiaries
Contribute to special projects and process improvements as needed
Support global accounting teams on tasks
