Bitwise Asset Management is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Corporate Finance team in San Francisco. You will oversee day-to-day accounting functions, including month-end close, and serve as the primary contact for employee, vendor, and third-party inquiries.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, strong communication skills, and experience with NetSuite or Ramp. You’ll support system integrations, audits, and growth initiatives from an accounting

Qualificações

• 5+ years of Accounting/Finance experience supporting month- and quarter-end close activities, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Excellent communication skills and timely responsiveness.
• Familiarity with NetSuite or Ramp or willingness to learn

Responsabilidades

• Support the month-end and quarter-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Work on monthly journal entries for fair market value of Digital Assets and Fund Investments for month-close
• Collaborate with the team to ensure accurate accruals, month-end close activities, and financial reporting related schedules
• Manage bank reconciliations and other balance sheet account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
• Support audits (external and internal), including preparation of schedules and responding to auditor requests
• Liaise with tax consultants for periodic federal, state tax and VAT payments
• Support preparation of monthly recharges and invoicing to subsidiaries
• Support special projects and evolving business needs as requested (e.g., general ledger schedule preparation and maintenance)
• Provide support during financial audits, including preparation of audit schedules and timely responses to audit queries
• Work closely with global accounting teams for accounting or related tasks
