Zusammenfassung

Voyager Technologies in Mojave, CA seeks a senior propulsion engineer to advance development of propulsion systems for sub-orbital vehicles. You will contribute from sizing to design, analysis, fabrication, and testing, reporting to the Propulsion Lead as part of a joint team with the Pittsburgh office.

You will lead hardware drawings, vendor interactions, and test planning, with a focus on cryogenic propellants and high‑pressure systems in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifikationen

• BS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering required.
• 6+ years of rocket propulsion system development experience.
• Experience with cryogenic propellants (liquid methane LOX preferred).
• Design and analysis of high‑pressure fluid/pneumatic systems.

Aufgaben

• Support design and test of rocket propulsion systems with cryogenic propellants.
• Size propulsion components: valves, feed lines, turbomachinery, tanks.
• Design/analyze combustion devices: injectors, chambers, nozzles, gas generators.
• Develop hardware drawings and component specifications for procurement.
• Create test plans, execute tests, and post‑process results.
