GlobalFoundries inc. seeks a CryoCMOS Digital IC Design Engineer to develop digital and mixed-signal ICs and reusable IP for cryogenic and quantum applications in Austin.

You will drive designs from architecture and RTL through physical implementation, tapeout, and silicon validation, working with verification, PDK, modeling and test teams. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in electrical/computer engineering or related field and 5+ years of digital IC/ASIC design experience, with strong RTL,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Microelectronics, or related field required.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant digital IC or ASIC design experience.
• Experience with RTL design and verification using Verilog, SystemVerilog, VHDL or equivalent.
• Experience with ASIC design flows including synthesis, STA, clock/reset, DFT, timing closure and signoff.
• Strong understanding of synchronous digital design, CDC/RDC, low-power concepts and PVT timing.

Responsabilités

• Design and develop digital CMOS circuits, subsystems and reusable IP for cryogenic CMOS and quantum applications.
• Own digital IC development from RTL through functional verification, synthesis, timing closure, layout, tapeout and silicon validation.
• Develop verification strategies using simulation, assertions, coverage and regression.
• Perform synthesis, STA, clock/reset design, power analysis, DFT, and physical implementation activities.
• Collaborate with PDK, device modeling, technology, analog, layout and EDA teams to evaluate design flows for new tech.
• Define silicon test and characterization requirements and correlate silicon with pre-silicon models.
