Job summary

Great American Insurance Group is seeking a Senior Underwriting Product Representative or Underwriting Product Specialist to join our Crop Division in Cincinnati, OH, with flexibility for regional offices. The role emphasizes training on underwriting systems, collaboration with IT and Claims, and ongoing product support.

The position requires a strong background in MPCI and crop insurance processes, plus lead or SME experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Business, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of crop insurance underwriting, product support, technical training or agency-facing experience.
• Strong knowledge of MPCI programs, RMA regulations, policy provisions and workflows.
• Proficiency with Excel and underwriting systems; strong written and verbal communication.
• Senior-level, lead, or subject matter expert experience supporting underwriting operations.

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains, and conveys underwriting system training materials and job aids for internal staff.
• Develops and delivers training programs for agency partners on Great American system enhancements and process updates.
• Learns and utilizes reporting and analytics platforms, including Tableau, to support underwriting operations and improvements.
• Represents underwriting in cross-functional meetings and projects with Claims, Compliance, IT, and other partners.
• Serves as a subject matter resource on underwriting workflows and product-related processes for underwriters and agencies.
• Identifies opportunities to improve underwriting forms and system functionality to enhance efficiency.
• Trouble-shoots system issues with IT resources based on changes and business needs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
