Job summary

Great American Insurance Group in Lawrence, KS is seeking a Senior Underwriting Product Representative or Underwriting Product Specialist. This hybrid role requires on-site four days a week with one remote day, coordinating with Crop division in Cincinnati HQ and regional offices.

You'll lead training programs, develop materials, and partner with IT and underwriting teams to optimize processes, using Tableau and Excel to support data-driven decisions; strong MPCI knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Business, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of crop insurance underwriting or related experience.
• Strong knowledge of MPCI programs and RMA regulations.
• Ability to interpret regulatory and product changes for stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Excel and underwriting systems; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains, and conveys training materials for underwriting systems.
• Delivers training programs for agency partners on system enhancements and updates.
• Learns and uses Tableau and other platforms to support underwriting operations and training.
• Represents underwriting in cross-functional meetings to support objectives.
• Guides underwriters, agencies, and partners on product-related processes.
• Identifies opportunities to improve forms and system functionality.
