Job summary

UCSF Health seeks a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to administer anesthesia for surgical and obstetrical procedures in the operating room and for selected procedures outside the OR, under the medical direction of UCSF faculty. This role requires active California CRNA and RN licensure, NBCRNA certification, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS credentials.

Credentialing through UCSF Office of Medical Affairs and Governance is required, with a 60–90 day process prior to first day.

Qualifications

• Requires active, unrestricted California RN and Nurse Anesthetist licensure.
• National NBCRNA certification is required.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications current.
• Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Anesthetist program.
• Credentialing through UCSF OMAG takes 60–90 days.

Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical and obstetrical procedures in OR or outside OR as directed by a faculty member.
• Work under medical direction billing collaboration with a Department of Anesthesia & Perioperative Care faculty member.
