Job summary

UCSF Health seeks a Nurse Anesthetist to administer anesthesia for surgical patients in the operating room and for procedures outside the OR, under the supervision of UCSF Department of Anesthesia & Perioperative Care.

The role requires CA RN licensure, CA CRNA eligibility, and a Master’s from an accredited Nurse Anesthetist program; credentialing takes 60-90 days and must be completed before first day of work.

Qualifications

• Licensed in California as a Registered Nurse
• Graduate of an anesthesia school accredited by the Council of Accreditation of Schools of Anesthesia
• Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Anesthetist program

Responsibilities

• Administers anesthesia to patients in the OR or outside the OR under supervision of UCSF anesthesia faculty.
