University of Maryland Faculty Physician’s Inc. seeks a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join the Department of Anesthesiology at UMMC in Baltimore, MD.

The CRNA provides expert anesthesia care, collaborates with anesthesiologists and surgeons, and contributes to education, safety and research missions. The successful candidate will have a nursing degree with an accredited anesthesia program, CRNA certification, and current ACLS/BLS.

Qualificações

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing and accredited nurse anesthesia program.
• CRNA certification by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) at employment start date.
• Current ACLS and BLS per American Heart Association requirements.
• NPI and taxonomy code required at time of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Pre-anesthetic preparation and patient evaluation; obtain informed consent for anesthesia.
• Develop and implement individualized anesthetic plan; initiate anesthesia and manage regional techniques as needed.
• Provide anesthesia induction, ventilation maintenance, emergence, and post-anesthesia care.
• Perform peri-anesthetic monitoring and respond to arterial/venous changes using current standards.
• Manage fluids, electrolytes, and acid-base balance; communicate patient changes to attending clinicians.
• Respond to emergencies with airway management and ACLS/BLS as required.
