UMMC - Medical Center in Baltimore invites CRNAs to provide expert anesthesia care in collaboration with anesthesiologists and surgeons. You will contribute to education, safety, quality and research missions while treating patients across the lifespan in diverse settings.

The position offers a competitive salary range and requires graduation from an accredited nursing and nurse anesthesia program, along with CRNA certification and current ACLS/BLS credentials.

Qualificações

• Graduate of accredited nursing and nurse anesthesia program.
• Two years of acute anesthesia care experience preferred but not required.
• Valid state APRN recognition and ability to obtain within 6 months.
• CRNA certification by AANA at start date.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• NPI and Taxonomy code required at hire.

Responsabilidades

• Provides pre-anesthetic preparation and evaluation; obtains informed consent.
• Develops and implements individualized anesthetic plans; administers anesthesia.
• Provides induction, ventilation, emergence and post-anesthesia care.
• Monitors patient condition with current standards and techniques.
• Manages fluid, electrolyte balance; communicates changes to physician.
• Responds to emergencies with airway management and ACLS/BLS actions.

Two years anesthesia care in acute setting experience

Valid state APRN recognition

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) by AANA
