Job summary

H&R Block in the United States seeks a Senior QA Analyst - CRM to assure the quality of customer communications across email and CRM channels, validating campaigns before deployment and ensuring accuracy and brand compliance.

You will partner with CRM Operations, Strategy, Email Design, Copywriting, GTM, Data Management, Analytics and Technology to verify readiness, test journeys, and maintain QA documentation. This role emphasizes meticulous testing and cross-functional teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, IS, Communications, CS or related field.
• 5+ years QA/marketing ops/CRM experience in digital marketing.
• Experience testing email campaigns, journeys, and CRM communications.
• Familiar with SFMC, AJO, or similar platforms.
• Understanding CRM campaign processes and email marketing best practices.
• Experience validating rendering, personalization, dynamic content, links, audience targeting, and campaign functionality.
• Strong attention to detail in fast-paced environments.
• Cross-functional collaboration with marketing, creative, ops, data and tech teams.
• Knowledge of QA methodologies, test planning, test cases, defect tracking, and root cause analysis.
• Experience with email testing tools (Litmus, Email on Acid) is a plus.
• Experience supporting high-volume or regulated programs is a plus.
• QA/marketing tech/CRM platform certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end QA reviews for CRM campaigns including email and customer journeys.
• Validate campaign builds in SFMC, AJO, and related platforms.
• Review email content, layouts, links, personalization, and targeting for accuracy.
• Partner with CRM Operations to ensure requirements align with specs.
• Collaborate with Email Design to validate templates across devices and clients.
• Work with Copywriting to ensure content is accurate and brand compliant.
• Validate audience targeting and campaign requirements with Data Management.
• Execute testing of journeys, triggered communications, decision logic, and workflows.
• Verify tracking, reporting, suppression, and configurations before launch.
• Identify, document, and communicate defects and risks to stakeholders.
• Support UAT and production readiness reviews for CRM campaigns.
• Maintain QA documentation and defect logs.
• Participate in launch reviews and post-launch validation.
• Collaborate with GTM, Tech, and Analytics to resolve issues and improve processes.
• Identify opportunities to enhance testing efficiency and quality controls.
• Stay current on CRM platform functionality and email marketing best practices.
