Our client is expanding its mission-critical infrastructure team and is looking for an experienced Senior Technician who knows what it takes to keep a high-availability data center operating safely and reliably. This is an opportunity for a seasoned facilities professional to step into a highly visible lead-level position while staying close to the equipment and technical work. Focus:

• Operate, inspect, troubleshoot, and support critical electrical, mechanical, HVAC, cooling, and facility infrastructure.
• Serve as a senior technical resource during daily operations, planned maintenance, equipment issues, and abnormal operating conditions.
• Evaluate equipment issues as they arise, determine the source of potential problems, and coordinate the necessary response to support uninterrupted facility performance.
• Lead and support controlled equipment activities, including switching, equipment isolation, and safe preparation of work areas.
• Coordinate maintenance and project activities with specialized contractors and service providers.
• Maintain accurate service records by tracking scheduled upkeep, equipment repairs, and completed work within digital asset management platforms.
• Provide hands‑on technical guidance to other technicians while reinforcing safe and disciplined operating practices.
• Partner with site leadership on equipment performance, maintenance priorities, operational readiness, and infrastructure needs.

Skill Set:

• 7 or more years of relevant experience in data center facilities, critical infrastructure, building engineering, or a comparable mission‑critical environment.
• Hands‑on data center facilities and infrastructure experience is required.
• Strong working knowledge of HVAC, cooling, electrical power, mechanical systems, and mission‑critical facility equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to operate at a lead or senior technician level while remaining highly hands‑on with facility operations.
• Advanced trade‑level knowledge within electrical, mechanical, HVAC/R, or a closely related facilities discipline.
• Ability to troubleshoot infrastructure alarms and equipment issues and safely stabilize affected systems.
• Experience with computerized maintenance systems, preventive maintenance programs, work orders, and safe equipment isolation practices.
• Sound judgment and clear communication skills, with the ability to accommodate changing work hours based on round‑the‑clock facility coverage requirements.
