Job summary
Skybox Critical Operations is seeking a highly experienced Lead SCADA & Controls Engineer to own the design, deployment, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our industrial controls platform across mission-critical data center facilities. You will oversee field devices, PLCs, Ignition Gateway, databases, networking, and operator interfaces.
This role demands deep systems knowledge across PLCs, SCADA, networking, SQL/Historians, and cybersecurity for OT, with hands-on ability to
Qualifications
- Experience with mission-critical facilities or data centers preferred.
- Experience with BMS and EPMS systems.
- Delta Controls experience helpful.
- Experience with power monitoring systems and OEM equipment from major vendors.
- Cybersecurity practices for OT are desirable.
Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain Ignition Gateways.
- Develop and support Vision and Perspective applications.
- Configure OPC-UA connections and security.
- Manage Tag Providers and Tag History.
- Create reports and dashboards for operators.
- Develop gateway scripts using Python/Jython.
- Provide Tier III controls support and after-hours troubleshooting.
