Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor degree in Respiratory Therapy.
• Licenses and certifications including RCP, NBRC-RRT, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in critical care areas such as ICU, CVICU, BURN, NICU, or Emergency Departments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered respiratory care and education to patients and families.
• Manage ventilator weaning, airway management, and invasive/non-invasive procedures in complex cases.
• Mentor and precept new staff, students, and peers to foster teamwork.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice projects to enhance patient safety and care standards.
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with policies to promote a safe environment.
