Job summary

Azza HealthCare Agency is seeking a Respiratory Therapist II to provide advanced respiratory care in a complex critical care setting. You will manage ventilators, perform airway procedures, and interpret arterial blood gases to ensure safe patient care.

Ideal candidates have 0-2 years of clinical experience, with at least 6 months in critical care, and hold NBRC-RRT or RCP certification along with BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP. Strong communication and computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy (preferred).
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, NBRC-RRT or RCP.
• 0-2 years clinical experience with at least 6 months in critical care.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, assessment, and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care, including education for patients and families.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to plan and implement treatment.
• Perform invasive and non-invasive procedures, including ventilator management and pulmonary testing.
• Promote safety, evidence-based practices, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Mentor and educate new staff, students, and peers.
• Maintain accurate documentation and electronic orders.
