Qualifications

• RRT, RCP, BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• 0–2 years of clinical experience, with at least 6 months in critical care preferred.
• Strong communication, critical thinking and relationship-building abilities.
• Proficient computer skills for documentation and monitoring systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and verify orders for respiratory therapies.
• Manage ventilators, perform weaning, interpret waveforms and assist in airway management.
• Administer aerosolized medications and monitor arterial blood gases.
• Educate patients and mentor staff while participating in quality improvement initiatives.
• Document care accurately to ensure patient safety and evidence-based practice.
