Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Accredited EMT-Paramedic training completed.
• Current NC EMT-P certification; SC EMT-P and National Registry preferred or required within 90 days.
• BCLS and ACLS required; PALS, S.T.A.B.L.E. and NRP preferred; trauma cert within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Care for ill and injured patients as part of the transport team.
• Administer medications and IV solutions per policy.
• Document patient care accurately and maintain charts in EMR.
• Maintain vehicles in mission-ready status and follow safety guidelines.
• Drive MedCenter Air vehicles in accordance with policy and regulations.
• Engage in public relations/marketing activities when needed.
