Job summary

The Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard seeks a Senior Research Scientist to lead high-throughput CRISPR screening, focusing on iPSCs. You will design, execute, and analyze pooled CRISPR screens across cellular models, guiding library design, transduction, and readouts like scRNA-seq, NGS, or imaging.

You will manage iPSC differentiation to neurons, cardiomyocytes, and other lineages for screening applications.

Qualifications

• Pooled CRISPR screening experience is mandatory.
• Deep expertise in iPSC culture and differentiation protocols.
• Molecular cloning and library prep expertise required.
• Experience with sRNA-seq/NGS readouts is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute pooled CRISPR screens across diverse cellular models, including iPSCs.
• Lead iPSC screening platform management and differentiation to relevant lineages.
• Develop and optimize screening protocols and cell-to-data workflows.
• Collaborate with researchers to translate biological questions into robust assays.
• Oversee data interpretation with computational biologists and validate hits.
• Mentor a team of Research Associates and ensure lab safety and compliance.
• Scale screening infrastructure and manage reagent production.
