Sci.bio Recruiting seeks a Scientist or Senior Scientist for an innovative early-stage biotechnology client in Massachusetts. You will advance a proprietary drug-discovery platform through assay development, high-throughput screening, and hit validation.

The role offers collaboration across discovery teams, rigorous data quality, and opportunities to drive progress in therapeutic development in a fast-paced biotech environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of industry experience in a lab-based science.
• Hands-on experience developing biochemical assays (TR-FRET, AlphaLISA).
• Experience with SPR/BLI for hit validation.
• Background in high-throughput screening and early drug discovery.
• Cell-based assay development or DEL screening a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop expertise with the company's discovery platform for target screening.
• Design, optimize, and execute biochemical/biophysical assays for hit identification and validation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve workflows and data quality.
• Analyze and communicate experimental results to support decision-making.
• Manage experimental data and documentation; contribute to data integration and reporting.
• Provide scientific oversight for assay development with external CROs.
• Present findings to project teams and senior leadership.
• Contribute to a collaborative, fast-paced research environment focused on innovation.
