Job summary

University of Texas at Austin is seeking a Senior Audio Visual Control Systems Programmer to join the College of Liberal Arts Technology Integration Team. You will develop and implement control system programming code, create user-friendly graphical interfaces, and provide technical training and documentation for campus AV systems.

Beyond programming new systems, you will support and troubleshoot existing AV deployments, collaborating with a skilled team to maintain and upgrade systems and

Qualifications

• Demonstrated Crestron programming experience, able to develop, test, and commission control systems.
• Proficient with Crestron development tools and languages for interfaces and controls.
• Experience reading AV drawings and designing clear end-user interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Create control system programming designs and read AV drawings, gathering requirements.
• Develop UI programming and install touch panel interfaces onsite and remotely; mentor junior staff.
• Develop enterprise tools and asset management to support the Technology Projects Team.
• Perform commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting; maintain version-controlled code.
• Travel to UT campus sites for on-site work as required.
