Job summary

DataVox is seeking an Audio Visual Programmer to join the Audio-Visual Department in Houston, Texas. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of field experience programming and commissioning integrated AV systems (Crestron, Extron, QSYS, Biamp, Shure), creating intuitive GUIs and providing technical field support from installation through project closeout.

Qualifications

3–5 years of commercial AV installation experience required.
Experience programming and commissioning AV systems (Crestron, Extron, QSYS) mandatory.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills; ability to troubleshoot complex AV issues.

Responsibilities

Program integrated AV systems (Crestron, QSYS, Extron) and other platforms.
Create modern GUIs for Crestron, QSYS, and Extron touch panels.
Configure and tune audio systems (Biamp, Shure, QSYS) and related gear.
Support in-house Senior Programmers with technical field expertise and coordination.
Assist with commissioning of equipment (crestron/extron) and DSPs, test and document results.
Commission AV systems by post-install tests and quality verification.
Provide field support to installation staff and ensure project closeout compliance.
