Bank of America is hiring an Underwriter for Global Commercial Banking to evaluate and monitor credit exposure for middle-market loans in the Tampa, Orlando, and Jacksonville markets. You will partner with relationship managers and product teams to structure debt solutions and ensure compliance with risk parameters.

The ideal candidate holds a BA/BS with 3–10 years in commercial banking underwriting, strong financial modeling, and solid written communication skills.

Qualifikationen

• BA/BS degree required.
• 3 to 10 years of Commercial Banking underwriting experience.
• Proficiency in accounting principles, financial statement analysis and financial modeling.
• Solid foundation in credit analysis, including evaluation of business risk, industry trends and capital structures.
• Understanding of credit documentation, including term sheets, credit agreements and ancillary agreements.

Aufgaben

• Partner with credit teammates, relationship management and product teams to develop strategic debt financing solutions.
• Employ credit and accounting knowledge to structure bilateral and syndicated loans aligned with client needs and bank risk parameters.
• Analyze ancillary credit exposure for treasury, rates and foreign exchange products.
• Perform due diligence and dynamic risk assessments of borrowers, industries and transactions.
• Create credit approval packages and own the credit approval process from initiation through final decision.
• Construct detailed financial cash flow and repayment models, including sensitivity analyses.
• Complete enterprise value (discounted cash flow), pricing, returns and risk rating models.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory and internal policies and procedures.
• Exercise approval authority for certain credit actions.
• Present well supported opportunities to credit and risk leadership.
• Partner with internal and external legal partners to complete loan documentation.
• Oversee quarterly monitoring exercises and requirements.
