Job summary

MFM Search LLC is seeking a Portfolio Specialist to join the Credit Review team, focusing on evaluating counterparty credit risk across portfolios. You will lead examinations, perform transactional testing, and drive issues management to ensure timely, accurate credit risk assessments.

The role requires deep credit analytics, stakeholder coordination, and the ability to coach junior staff while maintaining rigorous documentation and alignment with Credit Review guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or business.
• 10+ years of counterparty credit risk or risk management experience is preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with ability to influence senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Participates in exam activities and may serve as Examiner-in-Charge or Assistant Examiner-in-Charge.
• Performs transactional testing of credit process execution for clients.
• Supports portfolio reporting and stakeholder discussions with Portfolio Manager.
• Tracks observations from exams and testing; manages issues and severity ratings.
• Coordinates with Regulatory and Risk partners to address key issues and emerging risks.
• Mentors junior team members and maintains high-quality work papers.
