Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in commercial credit underwriting or lending.
• Strong knowledge of cash flow analysis and collateral valuation.
• Regulatory knowledge including Regulation O and BSA/AML guidance.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Willingness to travel within the bank's footprint.

Aufgaben

• Review, analyze, and vote on complex commercial lending requests involving CRE, C&I, and AG credits.
• Participate in credit approval and voting processes for loans exceeding individual lender authorities.
• Analyze financial statements, tax returns, cash flow projections, debt service coverage, and collateral valuations.
• Identify potential credit risks and recommend mitigating strategies.
• Collaborate with lenders to structure credit facilities that meet objectives while maintaining risk parameters.
• Establish loan covenants, collateral requirements, and other protections.
• Ensure underwriting decisions adhere to bank policies and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor portfolio quality and track credit migration and emerging risks.
• Lead onboarding and mentorship of junior credit staff and promote best practices.
• Prepare and present complex relationships for Executive Credit Committee review.
