Job summary

Upstart is seeking a Senior Credit Disputes Specialist to manage credit dispute processes, respond to disputes in Salesforce, and liaise with credit bureaus using E‑Oscar. You will ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance in reported data.

Remote in the United States, you’ll collaborate with the Credit Dispute and Reporting team, investigating account information and providing precise report details to major bureaus. Salary is hourly with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience working on credit bureau reporting at a Financial Institution.
• Credit dispute resolution experience with in-depth knowledge and familiarity with the credit reporting agencies.
• In depth knowledge and experience working with e‑Oscar.
• Familiarity with the Metro2 format and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Handle credit dispute functions and investigate accounts to provide accurate credit information reported to bureaus.
• Act as liaison between consumer reporting agencies, E‑Oscar, and Upstart to resolve bureau issues and inquiries.
• Ensure information is reported accurately and processed promptly for direct or indirect disputes.
• Ensure compliance with FCRA when researching and responding to disputes, maintain SLAs.
