Job summary

Citi seeks a Senior Credit Leader to join the Commercial Lending Management team as Director of Commercial Credit for the Digital, Technology & Communications (DTC) Subsector, based in San Francisco, CA.

You will be the primary credit authority for a portfolio of mid- to large-sized technology, digital, and communications companies, partnering with coverage bankers and risk teams to deliver lending solutions.

Qualifications

• 13+ years in commercial credit or related field.
• Deep underwriting, structuring, and portfolio management experience across lending products.
• Sector knowledge in digital, technology, or communications.
• Track record of leading senior credit professionals.
• Ability to make timely, well-supported credit decisions under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior credit authority for the DTC portfolio, leading risk reviews and portfolio monitoring.
• Structure and deliver a broad range of financial solutions including working capital facilities, term loans, M&A financing, treasury management, trade finance, and derivatives.
• Review and approve credit packages prior to submission to senior credit officers.
• Mentor and develop senior credit officers and junior team members.
• Lead process improvements to enhance end-to-end credit delivery.
