Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Credit Manager to lead credit, collections, and accounts receivable operations. Based in Tamarac, FL, you will drive risk-adjusted profitability, coach a high-performing team, and partner with sales to balance growth with risk.

You will evaluate credit applications, monitor portfolio performance, and implement effective strategies across multiple business units, ensuring compliance and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field preferred.
• Progressive experience in Credit, Collections, Accounts Receivable, or related financial discipline.
• Previous leadership or people-management experience preferred.
• Experience coaching and developing associates and supporting performance.
• Strong analytical and financial decision-making skills with sound business judgment.
• Experience evaluating credit risk and managing complex/high-value portfolios.
• Strong understanding of financial statement analysis.
• Knowledge of collection strategies and execution.
• Understanding of secondary security concepts and risk mitigation strategies.
• Knowledge of UCC fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for credit, collections, and AR activities across the market.
• Lead, coach, develop, and engage credit team members to support objectives.
• Establish expectations and provide ongoing feedback, coaching, and development.
• Partner with Human Resources on performance management and engagement.
• Participate in workforce planning, onboarding, and development of team members.
• Promote a positive, collaborative, and accountable team environment.
• Monitor delinquent/high-risk accounts and portfolio performance.
• Develop and execute effective collection and risk-management strategies.
• Review credit limits, lien rights, and other risk mitigations.
• Handle complex, high-risk, or escalated accounts with sound judgment.
