Beacon Funding is seeking a Senior Credit Analyst to manage the full credit lifecycle, from underwriting to funding-partner relations. The role blends underwriting judgment with data-driven analytics and may mentor junior analysts as part of day-to-day deal flow.

The position emphasizes building dashboards, improving credit policy, and collaborating with sales and partners to optimize deal structures and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent in finance, business, or a related field
• 5+ years combined experience in credit underwriting, portfolio management, and/or credit analytics
• Experience with small-ticket, construction, and/or commercial vehicle equipment finance is a plus

Responsibilities

• Review, evaluate, and adjudicate a high volume of daily commercial credit submissions
• Recommend risk-based pricing and deal structure; direct lease approvals
• Build and maintain dashboards and visualization tools to monitor credit and portfolio performance
• Present findings to senior management and collaborate on credit policy and decisions
• Mentor junior credit analysts and collaborate with cross-functional teams
